Business Analyst with Finance Expertise
We are looking for a Business Analyst with Technology skills and
Finance Knowledge to work across a portfolio of projects and also
handle the company finances.
Candidates must have:
-
Proven delivery experience in handling company finances and
accounting systems.

Strong communication, client management and influencing skills
-
Experience in customer service roles
-
Knowledge of full stack development
-
Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering [AML]
-
Knowledge of Six sigma
-
Self-starter, team-player with an ability to lead strategic
thinking
Technology and Business Analysis Skills including -
-
Track record of delivery of cross functional programmes of
work; experience of managing finance projects is desirable
-
Ability to work collaboratively with others and to navigate complex
decision points
-
Able to deliver change across internal, vendor and offshore models
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
-
Certified in either SCRUM or product Owner role
-
Experience of delivery within a global working environment
-
Ability to be hands-on and work in the detail, while maintaining a
higher-level view of the project
-
Undertaking senior stakeholder communications including regular
product steering committees
-
Own and deliver tasks with the project plan / Kanban board
The role will involve ownership for discrete
components of the
overall project including:
-
Gather and organise financial data for accounting and management
-
Compile and analyse financial reports and do reconciliation
-
Manage the general ledger and devote time to risk management
-
Analyses the financial position of the company, considering the
cash inflows and outflows
-
writing functional requirements / user stories and acceptance
criteria
-
supporting users and dedicated testing resource in test execution
-
providing stakeholder updates
-
Preparation of Management Accounts and monthly supporting schedules
-
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
-
Month end general ledger duties including Accruals, prepayments,
fixed assets, stocks and journal posting
-
Support with the preparation of budgets (yearly) and forecasts
(quarterly)
-
Reconciliation and Submission of quarterly VAT returns
-
Ensure finance reporting required for company’s financial
compliance
-
Producing any other internal financial reports as and when
required. Supporting company accountants and auditors
